Get a Library Card?
How Do I Get A Library Card?
You will be asked for proof of your home address and photo I.D. You may use your driver's license, passport, or employment photo for personal identification. Proof of your current home address can be made by providing, for example, recent mail sent to your home address under your name, your utility deposit, your rental contract, your driver's license, or your checkbook. Children 17 years old and younger must have their parents with them to sign the application form. There is no charge for the card....it's free! But, if you lose your card, there is a $2.00 replacement fee.
What if I can't find the book I want?
Ask a librarian. They may be able to find it for you or get it from another library through an interlibrary loan.
Is there a book drop?
For 24-hr convenience in returning books and other library materials there is a book drop around the side and to the back of the library building.
I don't know how to use the library's card catalog!
The staff is available to show everyone how to use the Evergreen automated system, and complete instructions are next to each computer.
How long may I keep the items I checked out?
When you check out you will be told the due date on each item, and the receipt you receive also has the due dates.
